The Wait Staff role at Outback Steakhouse is crucial to maintaining the restaurant's high standards of hospitality and guest satisfaction. In this position, team members will be responsible for delivering friendly, personalized service that ensures every Guest feels welcome and appreciated from the moment they enter until their final farewell. This role involves greeting Guests warmly, accurately taking and delivering food and beverage orders, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the menu to confidently make recommendations and upsell where appropriate. Wait Staff also assist with food preparation support, condiment assembly, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards throughout the restaurant. The position demands strong teamwork skills, as working collaboratively with fellow Outbackers is essential to achieving the goal of WOW-ing every Guest. This is a fast-paced and physically active role that requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs comfortably.

Job Duties
- In this role, you'll create memorable dining experiences by delivering friendly, personalized service that makes every Guest feel welcome and valued
- Deliver exceptional hospitality by providing friendly, prompt, and attentive service tailored to each Guest
- Greet Guests, take accurate food and beverage orders, and ensure timely delivery
- Maintain strong knowledge of menu items to confidently recommend, upsell, and reinforce orders
- Verify order accuracy and review orders with Guests to ensure complete satisfaction
- Assist with food preparation support and condiment assembly following Outback standards
- Support team operations by bussing tables, delivering food and drinks, and maintaining dining areas
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards throughout the shift
- Collaborate with fellow Outbackers to ensure every opportunity to WOW the Guest is achieved
- Adhere to safe food handling and responsible beverage service practices
