Over the years, Outback Steakhouse has become a favorite dining destination for guests seeking an energetic atmosphere complemented by delicious meals and outstanding service. With a commitment to treating people Just Right, Outback takes pride not only in the quality of its food but also in the supportive and enriching environment it fosters for its employees, known as Outbackers. The brand places strong emphasis on teamwork, personal development, and community engagement, aiming to create a workplace where all team members feel valued and are motivated to contribute to the restaurant's ongoing success.

The role of Wait Staff at Outback Steakhouse is an opportunity to join this vibrant family where hospitality, teamwork, and fun converge to craft memorable dining experiences. As a Wait Staff member, you will be the face of the restaurant, responsible for delivering friendly, personalized service that makes every guest feel welcome and valued. From warmly greeting guests at the door to ensuring a smooth departure, you will play a key part in upholding Outback's signature AUS-SOME service standards. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy working within a close-knit team setting. The job requires a blend of excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a genuine passion for providing exceptional hospitality.

In this role, you will engage with guests by taking accurate food and beverage orders, offering knowledgeable menu recommendations, and ensuring timely delivery of items. Maintaining a clean and safe dining environment is also crucial, alongside collaborating with fellow Outbackers to deliver a seamless and enjoyable dining experience. Whether bussing tables or assisting with food preparation support, you'll contribute to the team's effort to WOW each guest. The position demands physical stamina, including the ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift up to 30 pounds, and comfortably work in varying temperatures both hot and cold.

Outback Steakhouse offers competitive perks and benefits to support its employees' well-being and work-life balance. Employees enjoy health, dental, and vision insurance coverage, paid time off, and life insurance. Additional advantages include tip opportunities, meal compensation benefits when eligible, and the special perk of having Thanksgiving and Christmas Day off to spend quality time with family and friends. For those working in California, responsible beverage service certification is required, with training provided and mandated completion within 60 days of hire.

Joining Outback Steakhouse as Wait Staff means becoming part of a company that values its people, prioritizes growth, and embraces a culture of respect and camaraderie. If you are passionate about hospitality and eager to provide excellent service in a dynamic restaurant setting, this opportunity offers a rewarding career path with plenty of room for professional development and personal fulfillment.
