Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent years of experience
  • Emphasis in capital projects, project management, security, facilities, and engineering
  • Strong problem solving, organizational, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent project and time management skills
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Current knowledge and understanding of regulations, industry trends, current practices, and applicable laws
  • Strong client interface and presentation skills preferred
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions
  • Ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues diplomatically
  • Ability to drive results and be proactive
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

Job Duties

  • Directing the overall operations and staff of Security, EVS, Facilities, Engineering, Valet, and Marine departments
  • Adhering to and enforcing compliance with regulations established by Louisiana State Police-Gaming Division, United States Coast Guard, ABS Consulting, OSHA, and other agencies
  • Overseeing maintenance of all equipment and systems onboard the riverboat using preventive maintenance schedules
  • Developing, implementing, and managing operational goals and monitoring performance objectives
  • Serving on the executive team as a strategic leader focused on overall property goals
  • Recommending and leading capital projects in coordination with corporate and external stakeholders
  • Ensuring guest and team member engagement, satisfaction, and safety through evaluation and adjustment of programs
  • Providing feedback on non-gaming projects including property updates and remodels
  • Mentoring, training, and counseling team members in collaboration with department heads
  • Ensuring cleanliness standards and overseeing day-to-day and deep cleaning activities
  • Maintaining company property and equipment at peak efficiency
  • Implementing asset protection programs to mitigate risk and prevent theft
  • Managing security incidents and investigations
  • Developing and enforcing standard operating procedures
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory and OSHA standards
  • Overseeing patrol services of casino areas and auxiliary locations
  • Maintaining relationships with law enforcement agencies
  • Developing and maintaining cost-effective preventative maintenance programs
