Job Description

Pedersen Volvo is a well-established automobile dealership that has served drivers in the Fort Collins, Windsor, and Loveland areas of Colorado for over 50 years. As a family-owned business spanning two generations, Pedersen Volvo prides itself on being deeply rooted in the community. This dealership isn’t just about selling cars; it’s about building lasting relationships, providing quality vehicles, and supporting the local community through charitable donations and dedicated customer service. Driven by the philosophy "Driven by Community," Pedersen Volvo fosters a work environment where employees are empowered to act as extensions of the family ensuring ethical practices and customer satisfaction are at the forefront of every interaction.

The role of a Volvo Service Advisor at Pedersen Volvo is a pivotal position, combining excellent customer service skills with administrative duties. As the main point of contact for customers visiting the service department, the Service Advisor welcomes clients warmly and ensures they receive personalized, attentive service from the moment they arrive until they pick up their vehicles. This role requires an individual who is adept at listening carefully to customer concerns about their vehicles, coordinating with skilled technicians to schedule and manage repairs, and clearly communicating service recommendations, estimated costs, and timelines to customers.

The position is full-time, operating Monday through Friday, and offers an attractive salary range from $70,000 to $120,000 annually. Success in this role is dependent on strong interpersonal and organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering smooth and professional service experiences that build customer trust and loyalty.

Beyond managing appointments and repair orders, the Service Advisor must maintain ongoing communication with customers throughout the service process, updating them on repair progress and any changes in cost or timing. This transparency is essential to delivering a customer-focused service experience. Additionally, the role involves administrative tasks such as collecting payment, obtaining signatures, and coordinating with other dealership personnel to ensure efficient workflow and vehicle management.

Pedersen Volvo values team players who are not only capable of managing day-to-day service operations but are also willing to support additional responsibilities such as managing loaner vehicles, assisting with vehicle transport, and overseeing shuttle and valet services. The Service Advisor contributes significantly to maintaining the professionalism and smooth operation of the service department, ensuring that vehicles are securely parked and that key management protocols are followed meticulously.

Working as a Volvo Service Advisor at Pedersen Volvo offers the reward of being part of a family-oriented, community-focused dealership where employees are respected and supported. The dealership provides ongoing opportunities for professional development and encourages a workplace culture grounded in integrity, respect, and dedication to excellence. If you possess excellent communication skills, a passion for customer service, and an understanding of automotive service operations, this position offers a fulfilling and stable career path in the thriving automotive industry.
