Lions Tigers & Bears is a federally and state licensed nonprofit sanctuary located on a 93-acre ranch in Alpine, California. Established in 2002, it is dedicated to providing a safe haven for rescued exotic animals including lions, tigers, bears, and other animals that have been abandoned, abused, or confiscated from illegal situations. Job Requirements

Job Duties
- Manage and develop the volunteer program including recruitment, onboarding, training, and scheduling
- Ensure volunteers are trained and informed about policies and safety procedures
- Enhance volunteer engagement by identifying growth and leadership opportunities
- Oversee internship program and support educational initiatives
- Organize volunteer schedules for sanctuary operations including animal care and maintenance
- Recruit and train volunteers for special events and community outreach
- Maintain volunteer records and support communications via newsletters and social media
