Job Requirements

  • Associates degree
  • 2-5 years experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 5-10 years supervisory experience preferred

  • Capability to work independently and with a team
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Ability to work with volunteers in many age groups
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with volunteers and support staff
  • Expand and grow current volunteer program
  • Associates degree
  • 2-5 years experience

Job Duties

  • Recruiting and retaining volunteers to Boone Health
  • Work with managers to define roles and responsibilities of volunteers based on location
  • Onboarding process including interviewing, background checks, scheduling, communication with managers
  • Assign and train volunteers to the appropriate department based on interests and qualifications
  • Maintain accurate volunteer records including tracking volunteer hours, required reports such as annual flu vaccinations, annual mandatories and competencies, health statistics, and background checks
  • Plan and coordinate yearly volunteer appreciation event and other events
  • Maintain positive interactions and relationships with volunteers and Boone Staff
