The open position for a Crew Member at Angry Chickz plays a critical role in maintaining the high standards the restaurant is known for. The Crew Member will participate directly in food preparation and customer service, ensuring that every meal served meets exacting quality, flavor, and presentation standards. This role involves working across various stations including fry, cashier, prep, seasoning, breading, and expo, providing a well-rounded kitchen experience. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • proven experience as a cook or in a similar role
  • knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations
  • ability to work in a team and communicate effectively
  • strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • capacity to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • able to stand and walk for extended periods
  • able to lift up to 40 pounds
  • able to use hands for grasping tools
  • able to handle exposure to extreme temperatures and cleaning chemicals
  • able to read and speak English
  • ability to read and speak Spanish is a plus

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a cook or similar role within a restaurant or food service setting
  • knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations
  • ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues

Job Duties

  • Knowledge of company recipes and preparation
  • ensure food is prepared with care and of the best quality, flavor, and presentation
  • maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas
  • responsible for setup and sanitation of the stations on the line
  • maintain clean food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils
  • maintaining organization, proper labeling, and rotation of food products
  • operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers, stoves, or griddles
  • support the dietary department by following specific dietary requirements for meals
  • ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues
  • strong attention to detail and organizational skills
