Job Requirements

  • Must have 2+ years of customer service and cash handling experience
  • bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
  • professional, dependable, and flexible
  • excellent interpersonal skills
  • maintain enthusiasm towards job duties
  • knowledge of all credit union products and services
  • ability to evaluate financial situations and cross-sell products
  • problem resolution skills
  • knowledge of credit union rules and regulations including BSA, OFAC and Reg. CC
  • ability to work independently or in a team
  • clear communication skills
  • ability to perform complex math calculations
  • ability to handle multiple priorities and maintain composure under pressure
  • highest level of discretion with confidential matters

Job Duties

  • Operating the Interactive Teller Machine and performing traditional teller functions such as cashing checks and taking deposits
  • recommending new products or services to fulfill members' needs
  • referring recommendations to the Member Experience Specialist on site
  • balancing virtual cash drawers and verifying transactions daily
  • providing support during department opening and closing
  • being first point of contact to assist members at ITM machines
  • actively listening to identify product or service recommendations during member interactions
