The Sous Chef role at New Realm Brewing Co. is an essential leadership position responsible for overseeing the food and beverage operations, ensuring the highest standards in food preparation and kitchen management. Working closely with the Executive Chef and kitchen associates, the Sous Chef plays a vital part in crafting an unparalleled food experience for guests, continuously working to enhance both customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. In this role, the Sous Chef is tasked with directing food preparation, supervising kitchen staff, assisting in menu planning and inventory management, and ensuring cleanliness and adherence to food safety protocols. Creativity and leadership are crucial as the Sous Chef aids in designing food and drink menus that complement the brewery's offerings, produces visually appealing and high-quality dishes, and fosters a positive and efficient kitchen environment. Additionally, the Sous Chef is responsible for training new employees, ordering supplies, maintaining kitchen equipment, and problem-solving to maintain smooth kitchen operations.
