The VIP Recovery Lounge Receptionist at Summit Athletic Club plays a critical role in enhancing the member experience by being the welcoming face of the River Road and Sunset VIP Recovery Lounge. This customer service position is designed for someone who has a passion for people and fitness, and an outgoing personality that naturally connects with members. The role involves greeting and assisting members with their recovery services, scheduling appointments, managing sales transactions, and maintaining the cleanliness and operational quality of the lounge area. Paid at $16 per hour with an additional $50 commission for every VIP Membership sold, this position combines customer service excellence with sales opportunities and offers a dynamic work environment that is perfect for those who enjoy working closely with others in a health and wellness setting. As the VIP Recovery Lounge Receptionist, your responsibilities include managing appointment calendars efficiently, maintaining high cleanliness standards for all equipment and spaces, and assisting members with advanced recovery treatments such as massage chairs and compression therapy. Strong communication skills, multitasking abilities, and familiarity with Google Drive tools are essential for success in this role. Additionally, the receptionist must have a polished phone manner and the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, is required to cover operating hours which span from early morning to evening six days a week and shorter hours on Sunday. Being CPR certified or willing to obtain certification within three months is also a condition of employment to ensure member safety and care. Previous experience in reception or customer service, as well as a background or interest in fitness and wellness, will help candidates thrive in this engaging and rewarding role.
