Job Requirements

  • minimum 21 years of age
  • hospitality experience
  • experience in a high-volume restaurant, nightclub, or lounge preferred
  • able to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • possess reliable transportation
  • ability to handle credit card transactions responsibly
  • strong interpersonal skills
  • ability to work under pressure
  • ability to communicate effectively
  • capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds
  • willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • hospitality experience

  • previous host or sales experience a plus
  • strong customer service orientation

Job Duties

  • provide excellent service to VIP members and premium guests
  • build and maintain constructive relationships and anticipate guests' needs
  • pitch, sell, and collect payment for upgrades
  • maintain appearance and professional dress
  • promote venue and membership program
  • complete assigned data collection, marketing, and social media tasks
  • maintain cleanliness and orderliness of premium areas
  • manage table reservations and guest list minimums
  • support execution of events
  • assist with side-work and opening/closing procedures
  • report breakage or damage to management
  • participate in training sessions and departmental meetings
  • contribute to VIP satisfaction and retention
  • work as part of a team and provide support to fellow team members
  • deal efficiently with complaints
  • act as usher for VIP clients
  • liaise with supervisor and report on events
  • provide personal attention to clients
