Legends Global is currently seeking a VIP Concierge to join the hospitality team at The Greek Theatre, a historic and iconic venue located in Los Angeles, California. This position is categorized as an hourly, non-exempt, seasonal part-time role with a pay rate of $19.20 per hour. The VIP Concierge will report directly to the Senior Sales Manager and will be instrumental in supporting the sales department during events by enhancing the VIP guest experience.

The role is focused on delivering outstanding customer service in a high-pressure environment, ensuring that VIP guests receive personalized attention and support. Responsibilities extend from greeting and assisting guests in VIP sections such as box suites and VIP lounges to managing logistics related to seating, ticketing, and guest credentials. This role also requires the physical setup and maintenance of VIP areas, guaranteeing these spaces meet the established standards for cleanliness and presentation. The VIP Concierge will serve as a frontline representative of The Greek Theatre, embodying professionalism while addressing guest inquiries, resolving concerns, and providing information about the venue.

The successful candidate must exhibit flexibility, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain calm and tactful in stressful situations. Working hours can be irregular, including late nights, weekends, and holidays, reflecting the dynamic nature of entertainment events. Physical stamina is essential, as the job involves standing or walking for extended periods and working outdoors in varied weather conditions. Prior customer service experience is preferred, and a background in the entertainment industry is considered a valuable asset. Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 to apply
  • received high school diploma or GED
  • at least six months customer service experience preferred
  • ability to work irregular hours including late nights, weekends and/or holidays as needed
  • must be able to stand and/or walk for hours at a time
  • must be comfortable working outdoors in both hot and cold weather
  • ability to deal tactfully in stressful situations and stay calm under pressure
  • ability to speak and understand English
  • must be able to work in a fast-paced, diverse environment

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Assist in creating the VIP experience for clients with outstanding customer service in a high-pressure environment
  • provide exceptional customer service by addressing and resolving guest inquiries and concerns
  • ensure box suites, VIP lounge and other VIP areas are set up to standard, including cleanliness and presentation, according to plan provided by Senior Sales Manager
  • physically move chairs, tables, and other equipment in the box suites and other VIP areas
  • assist ushers in guiding guests to their seats and providing necessary directions or information
  • occasionally take pictures of VIP guests in premium areas as requested by Senior Sales Manager
  • review and distribute tickets/credentials for guest lists
  • check for proper credentials for access to VIP areas
  • answer general questions about the theatre and provide assistance when needed
  • all other duties and responsibilities as assigned
