Among Legends Global's managed venues is The Greek Theatre, located in Los Angeles, California, a nationally recognized and iconic amphitheater known for hosting a wide array of concerts, cultural events, and performances. The VIP Concierge position at The Greek Theatre is an essential role within the Hospitality Department, designed to elevate the guest experience in VIP areas during events. This seasonal, part-time hourly role reports directly to the Senior Sales Manager and offers a pay rate of $19.20 per hour. The VIP Concierge is responsible for supporting the entire Sales Department by facilitating seamless event operations, particularly focusing on the VIP experience. This role is tailored for individuals who thrive in dynamic, high-pressure environments and have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

In this capacity, the VIP Concierge ensures that VIP guests feel welcomed and valued by managing various VIP spaces, including Box Suites and VIP Lounges. The responsibilities cover a spectrum of duties ranging from greeting and assisting VIP guests, verifying credentials, ensuring cleanliness and presentation of VIP areas, to assisting with event logistics such as seating guidance and distributing tickets or credentials. Additionally, this role serves as the face of the venue in premium sections, demanding a professional demeanor, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to remain calm and tactful even during busy or stressful situations.

Candidates for this position must demonstrate flexibility in their availability, as the job requires working irregular hours including late nights, weekends, and holidays. Physical stamina is also crucial since the job involves standing or walking for extensive periods and working outdoors under varying weather conditions. Spanish-speaking ability is considered an advantage, adding value for serving a diverse clientele.

Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 to apply
  • Received high school diploma or GED
  • At least six months customer service experience preferred
  • Must be able to work irregular hours including late nights, weekend and/or holidays as needed
  • Must be able to stand and/or walk for hours at a time
  • Must be comfortable working outdoors in both hot and cold weather
  • Ability to deal tactfully in stressful situations and stay calm under pressure
  • Professional presentation, appearance, and work ethic
  • Ability to speak and understand English
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, diverse environment
  • Convey strong verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with others in both oral and written form

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Assist in creating the VIP experience for clients with outstanding customer service in a high-pressure environment
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing and resolving guest inquiries and concerns
  • Ensure box suites, VIP lounge and other VIP areas are set up to standard, including cleanliness and presentation, according to plan provided by senior sales manager
  • Physically move chairs, tables, and other equipment in the box suites and other VIP areas
  • Assist ushers in guiding guests to their seats and providing necessary directions or information
  • Occasionally take pictures of VIP guests in premium areas as requested by senior sales manager
  • Review and distribute tickets/credentials for guest lists
  • Check for proper credentials for access to VIP areas
  • Answer general questions about the theatre and provide assistance when needed
  • All other duties and responsibilities as assigned
