The Vice President of Real Estate & Workplace Services role is a critical leadership position within Illumio’s CFO organization, with a strategic focus on shaping and executing global workplace strategies that support the company’s ambitious growth plans and cultural objectives. Reporting directly to executive leadership, this role acts as a trusted partner and advisor, responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of real estate strategy, corporate headquarters planning, global facilities operations, corporate travel programs, and employee experience initiatives.

This senior leadership position demands a visionary approach to real estate portfolio management, using data-driven insights and scenario modeling to guide long-term decisions that ensure flexibility, scalability, and financial discipline. The Vice President will lead the expansion of Illumio’s global office footprint, managing site selection, lease negotiations, and build-outs to support growth and operational efficiency.

Workplace experience and employee engagement are core to this role. The Vice President will develop and implement a cohesive workplace vision that enhances collaboration, culture, and employee satisfaction across all locations. This includes overseeing global food programs, employee amenities such as wellness services and fitness offerings, and cultural programming that celebrates diversity and fosters inclusion.

Operational excellence is a key responsibility, with oversight of facilities management, budgeting, performance KPIs, and governance frameworks to ensure high standards in workplace services and infrastructure reliability. The role also manages corporate travel programs, optimizing spend and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Sustainability, safety, and organizational resilience are integrated into the position’s remit, with leadership over ESG initiatives, emergency preparedness, and business continuity programs designed to support a safe and compliant work environment.

Finally, the Vice President will leverage modern workplace technologies and analytics to drive continuous improvement and data-informed decision-making, building and leading a high-performing team and managing a strategic vendor ecosystem to ensure excellence and cost-effectiveness.

The role offers a competitive compensation range of $279,000 to $335,000 and provides an exciting opportunity to influence the future workspace and real estate strategy of a leading technology innovator.
