Established in 1909, ABM serves a diverse range of industries including commercial office buildings, universities, airports, hospitals, data centers, manufacturing plants, distribution centers, and entertainment venues. With annual revenues approaching $8 billion and a workforce of over 100,000 employees operating from more than 350 locations worldwide, ABM offers comprehensive services such as janitorial, engineering, parking, electrical and lighting, energy and electric vehicle charging infrastructure, HVAC and mechanical, landscape and turf, as well as mission critical solutions. As a publicly traded company (NYSE: ABM), ABM is committed to being an equal opportunity employer that values diversity and inclusion, and it supports military veterans through dedicated hiring programs and world-class training opportunities.

As an inspirational leader, the Vice President will develop and lead talent, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and organic growth year over year. Financial acumen is critical, as the position carries full profit and loss (P&L) accountability, requiring the ability to manage budgets, optimize cash flow, and enhance operational efficiencies.

This senior leadership position involves strategic planning and directing daily operational activities to ensure the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective facility services to a diverse client base. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of facilities management or a closely related industry, alongside proven experience managing large-scale facility services across numerous clients. Collaboration is key, as the Vice President will work closely with senior operational leadership, cross-functional teams, and external partners to align operational initiatives with company goals.

The compensation for this role ranges from $145,950 to $306,000 annually, reflecting the candidate’s education, experience, skills, geographic location, and market conditions. Additionally, the role may qualify for participation in ABM’s incentive or bonus programs, further rewarding exceptional performance. ABM offers a comprehensive benefits package that supports the health, wellness, and financial security of its employees.

The Vice President of Operations will lead multiple regional leaders including Regional Directors, Branch Managers, and District Managers to maintain strong customer relationships and drive both retention and new client acquisition. The role involves spearheading the adoption of new service offerings and implementing go-to-market campaigns to expand ABM's footprint. It also requires hands-on involvement in operational and fiscal management, policy development, budgeting, and performance reporting. A continuous improvement mindset, ability to navigate complex organizational structures, and adeptness at managing sensitive and complex issues are essential traits. This position represents a high-impact opportunity to influence ABM’s operational excellence and sustainable growth in a dynamic, matrixed environment.
