At Brightview Senior Living, the role of Vibrant Living Assistant is pivotal in enriching the lives of the residents. Unlike traditional roles such as Activities Assistant, the Vibrant Living Assistant title reflects the unique contribution of supporting residents in living an active and vibrant life. Responsibilities involve planning and implementing diverse programming that encompasses spiritual, physical, intellectual, cultural, and emotional activities tailored to engage and fulfill the residents. The Vibrant Living Assistant gets to know each resident personally to design meaningful activities including games, painting, singing, and music events. This role also involves communication and promotion of upcoming community events through social media, email, and newsletters to keep residents and their families informed and involved.

Additionally, individuals in this role may occasionally drive the company vehicle to transport residents to and from events, provided they are 21 years or older and hold a valid driver’s license. Setting up and breaking down events is also part of the job, requiring a hands-on and energetic approach. The Vibrant Living Assistant position offers a salary range of USD 18.50 to USD 21.25 per hour, with offers based on experience, qualifications, location, and certifications. Job Requirements

high school diploma or equivalent
experience working with seniors or in activities coordination preferred
active driver's license
ability to engage with elderly residents compassionately and energetically
age 21 or over for driving company vehicle
excellent communication and interpersonal skills
ability to utilize social media and email communication platforms
