Job Requirements
- Meet CAMTS requirements
- Valid commercial and instrument helicopter ratings
- First class medical certificate
- Minimum total flight hours: 2,000
- Minimum helicopter flight hours: 1,500
- Minimum pilot-in-command helicopter hours: 1,000
- Minimum turbine helicopter hours: 500
- Night operations experience: 100 hours unaided or 50 hours unaided plus 100 hours NVG
- Body weight not to exceed 235 pounds
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Pass pre-placement physical, drug screening and background check
- Ability to lift 100 pounds
- Must reside within 1-hour commute of Kirbyville base

- Commercial helicopter rating
- Instrument helicopter rating
- First class medical certificate
- Minimum 2,000 total flight hours
- Minimum 1,500 helicopter flight hours
- Minimum 1,000 hours as pilot-in-command of helicopters
- Minimum 500 turbine helicopter flight hours
- 100 hours unaided night operations or 50 hours unaided plus 100 hours night vision goggle operations
- Strong communication skills
- Internal and external customer service skills
- Ability to pass pre-placement physical exam including lifting 100 pounds
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Successful interview and acceptance by PHI management
Job Duties
- Insure a staff of pilots are maintained with the knowledge and skill required to operate aircraft IAW General Operations Manual and FAA regulations
- Coordinate with Air Medical Base Supervisor, Business Operations Manager and Area Manager for business planning, marketing and efficient operation of EMS base
- Supervise EMS base pilots including professional development, assessments, counseling and recommending disciplinary action
- Work with base supervisors for scheduling base pilots' occupational health compliance, safety training and recurrent training
- Handle scheduling duties including monthly schedule, workover assignments, sick call, vacation and open shift coverage
- Ensure open shifts are covered when off duty
- Distribute monthly schedules and updates to appropriate departments
- Approve base pilots' bonus and expense vouchers and audit routine base bills
- Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and company policies
- Communicate operational status of aircraft to Area and Maintenance Managers and Scheduling Department
- Participate in safety meetings and assist in maintaining flight safety and workplace safety audits
