Job Requirements

  • Commercial and instrument helicopter ratings
  • first class medical certificate
  • minimum 2,000 total flight hours
  • at least 1,500 hours helicopter flight time
  • 1,000 hours as pilot in command of helicopters
  • 500 hours turbine helicopter experience
  • 100 hours unaided night operations or 50 hours unaided plus 100 hours night vision goggles
  • must meet company's flight personnel weight restriction policy
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to pass pre-placement physical exam including functional capacity assessment
  • pass drug screening and background check
  • demonstrate customer service skills
  • reside within 1-hour commute of base
  • willingness to participate in community outreach programs
  • ability to work 24-hour operations with day/night rotation

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Perform line pilot duties in accordance with General Operations Manual
  • support Safety Management System and company safety campaigns
  • operate BH407 helicopter under CAMTS guidelines
  • participate in community outreach programs
  • assist in loading and unloading patients and equipment
  • work with internal and external customers to provide safe and reliable service
  • adhere to company policies and procedures
