Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in a veterinary reception or customer service role preferred
  • excellent telephone and verbal communication skills
  • proficiency in veterinary software like Avimark, PetDesk, or Microsoft Office is a plus
  • ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • strong organizational skills
  • customer-focused with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • active listening skills

Job Duties

  • Greet and welcome clients and their pets upon arrival
  • manage appointment scheduling efficiently using veterinary software
  • answer incoming telephone calls with professionalism and courtesy
  • respond promptly to client emails and inquiries
  • maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
  • process invoices, collect payments, and handle billing transactions
  • educate clients on prescription heartworm and flea/tick prevention and sell related products
