Job Description

Warwick Animal Hospital is a well-established veterinary clinic dedicated to providing exceptional care to pets and their owners. Situated in a community-focused environment, the hospital prides itself on combining medical expertise with compassionate client service to ensure the health and well-being of every animal that comes through its doors. As a trusted provider of veterinary services, Warwick Animal Hospital emphasizes a collaborative approach among its staff to maintain a caring and professional atmosphere that pet owners can rely on. The clinic offers comprehensive veterinary care ranging from routine wellness exams and vaccinations to more advanced medical treatments, all delivered in a friendly and supportive setting.

We are currently seeking a full-time front-desk receptionist to be the welcoming face of Warwick Animal Hospital. This role is pivotal to setting a positive tone for the client experience, as the receptionist serves as the first point of contact for veterinary clients. The successful candidate will be a customer service professional capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment, communicating clearly with clients and staff, and demonstrating a deep passion for animal care. This position requires someone who is detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage appointments, process payments accurately, and provide valuable assistance in maintaining a clean and orderly reception area.

The role offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $13.00 to $15.00 based on experience and skills. The work schedule encompasses 35-40 hours per week, primarily Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with an additional half-day on Saturday from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Employees will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package designed to support their health, well-being, and career growth, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, a 401(k) plan, and opportunities for professional development.

As a front-desk receptionist at Warwick Animal Hospital, you will play an integral role in the daily operations of the clinic by greeting clients and their pets, verifying appointment details, and escorting them to exam rooms. Your responsibilities will also involve managing appointments, handling payments through various methods, answering client inquiries by phone, and making outbound calls for appointment reminders and follow-ups. A basic understanding of veterinary terminology, common vaccination protocols, and pet behavior will be essential to provide accurate and empathetic responses to client needs. Furthermore, you will help ensure the reception area remains clean and well-organized, contributing to an overall positive client experience.

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in an environment where animal health and client satisfaction are top priorities. Warwick Animal Hospital values team members who are proactive, adaptable, and eager to contribute to the clinic's mission of delivering outstanding veterinary care. If you have previous experience in a veterinary or medical office setting and possess strong organizational and multitasking abilities, we encourage you to apply and join our dedicated team.
