Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a customer service or veterinary setting preferred
Flexible scheduling availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Strong communication skills
Ability to multitask and handle payment processing
Computer literacy
Ability to work in a team environment
Willingness to be on camera during interview and assessment process

Job Qualifications

Demonstrated commitment to core values
Computer knowledge including keyboarding and use of communication tools such as email and internet
Working knowledge of veterinary terminology including pronunciation and spelling
Excellent spelling and grammar skills
Ability to handle varied and sometimes difficult or emotional situations
Ability to display tact and respect with clients and team members
Ability to conduct oneself confidently and professionally during stressful situations
Genuine liking for animals and working in animal care field

Job Duties

Greet clients and pets by name with a positive attitude
Answer phones promptly and professionally using a multi-line system
Schedule appointments and surgeries according to hospital guidelines
Enter accurate charges and explain invoices to clients
Collect payments including cash, credit cards, and checks
Verify eligibility of clients with charge accounts
Maintain accurate client and medical records and document client conversations
