Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Flexible schedule including some weekend and holiday shifts
- Ability to utilize standard office and business equipment
- Experience with veterinary software preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service or veterinary office environment preferred
- Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and procedures is preferred
- Familiarity with veterinary software is an advantage

Job Duties
- Receive and place calls to clients for scheduling
- Prioritize multiple tasks in a calm, organized manner
- Maintain proper documentation of client and pet records, including referral documentation and medical history
- Assist clients by providing instructions, information, invoices, dispense prescription items per veterinarian instructions, and schedule future appointments
- Utilize hospital computer systems to document medical records and communicate with clients and team members
- Manage hospital financials by maintaining accurate balances through client transactions and following cash and credit handling procedures
- Provide excellent customer service and professional communication
- Advocate for pets through client education on preventative care, treatment recommendations, and hospital services
- Maintain a positive attitude with clients, pets, and teammates
- Show empathy toward clients and treat pets with compassion and respect
