Job Requirements

  • Flexible schedule including some weekends and holidays
  • Ability to use standard office and business equipment
  • Experience with client scheduling and communication
  • Must handle stressful situations with good judgment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Relevant prior experience in veterinary or customer service roles
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Job Duties

  • Receive and place calls to clients for scheduling
  • Prioritize multiple tasks in a calm, organized manner
  • Maintain proper documentation through client and pet records
  • Assist clients by providing instructions, information, invoices, and scheduling appointments
  • Utilize hospital computer systems to document medical records and communicate
  • Manage financial transactions following cash and credit card procedures
  • Provide excellent customer service and professional communication
  • Advocate for pets through client education on health and treatment
  • Maintain positive attitude in interactions with clients, pets, and teammates
  • Show empathy toward clients and compassion toward pets
