Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least two years of veterinary reception experience
  • full-time availability
  • weekend availability
  • ability to manage high volume calls and maintain professionalism in stressful situations
  • effective independent and team work skills
  • strong communication and organizational skills
  • compassionate and empathetic attitude towards pets and owners

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least two years of veterinary reception experience
  • great communication, time management, and attention to detail
  • ability to manage high volume calls and maintain professionalism in stressful situations
  • experience with the programs Evet and Pulse is preferred but not required
  • must work effectively independently or on a team
  • demonstrate compassion and empathy for pets and their owners
  • full-time and weekend availability

Job Duties

  • Greet clients in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner
  • answer multi-line phone system and direct calls accordingly
  • maximize clinic productivity through proper scheduling and confirmation of appointments
  • prepare, record, and maintain any required documents or medical records
  • keep hospital facility disinfected, organized and neat
  • obtain deposits and payments from clients
  • utilize computer systems like email applications, chat support, and veterinary programs
  • educate clients on veterinary services and care
