Our team is led by dedicated veterinarians with decades of experience in animal health. We operate a state-of-the-art veterinary emergency facility equipped with the latest technology and equipment to manage everything from minor medical issues to severe animal emergencies. Our facility includes four exam rooms, an on-site blood bank, and a fully stocked pharmacy, providing comprehensive emergency care and treatments. Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-year experience in a veterinary receptionist role preferred
  • strong verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to handle stressful situations with compassion and professionalism
  • comfortable working around animals and exposure to odors, noises, potential bites, scratches, animal waste, and contagious diseases
  • capability to multi-task and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • proficiency with scheduling software and basic computer applications
  • availability to work the swing shift 4 pm to 12 midnight Monday through Friday

Job Qualifications

  • Experienced receptionist with a minimum of 1-year veterinary experience preferred
  • strong communication and customer service skills
  • compassionate and calm team-player
  • ability to multi-task
  • highly organized and possess computer skills
  • self-starter with desire to continue to advance knowledge and skillset

Job Duties

  • Maintain the visual appeal of the hospital reception area
  • greet and welcome clients and patients
  • answer questions and triage client concerns
  • answer calls or emails and direct to the appropriate party for resolution
  • schedule appointments to maximize efficiency and daily flow
  • check in and check out clients and process payments
  • offer friendly emotional support in a compassionate and discreet manner during times of need
