Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a receptionist or customer-facing role is preferred
- Ability to communicate clearly and empathetically
- Must be able to function calmly in stressful situations
- Availability to work rotating shifts including weekends
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Basic computer skills

Job Duties
- Greet clients with warm and professional acknowledgement
- Offer friendly smile, strong eye contact and approachable demeanor
- Listen compassionately to clients
- Speak clearly, slowly and calmly in person and over the phone
- Assess client and pet condition upon arrival
- Determine urgency of emergency cases
- Respond to non-patient calls and connect them appropriately
- Confirm appointments and provide accurate preparation information
- Provide emotional support and resource materials to grieving clients
- Liaise between clients and service agencies for pet remains handling
