Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum two years of client service or receptionist experience
Minimum one year of veterinary care experience
Proficient in handling telephone and scheduling systems
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
Strong organizational skills
Commitment to maintaining a clean and welcoming environment

Job Qualifications

At least two years of client service or receptionist experience
At least one year of veterinary care experience
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented with a customer-focused attitude
Comfortable working collaboratively within a team
Knowledge of general animal husbandry and pet care

Job Duties

Greeting visitors and answering telephones
Guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms
Scheduling and confirming appointments
Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and reaching prospective clients
Presenting and explaining fees including processing payments
Recommending, selecting, and obtaining products and services including prescriptions
Answering client questions and educating on general animal care
Managing medical records, charts, reports, and correspondence
Hospital maintenance including cleaning and animal waste removal
