Job Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • At least 1 year experience working in veterinary or customer-facing role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Compassionate and professional attitude during stressful situations
  • Exceptional telephone and computer skills
  • Team player willing to learn and accept change
  • Preferred previous experience with Practice Management System

  • Exceptional telephone and computer skills
  • Team player with willingness to learn and adapt
  • Previous experience using a Practice Management System preferred

Job Duties

  • Answer the practice phone and route calls appropriately
  • Maintain hospital appointment calendar including scheduling appointments and reviewing online bookings
  • Greet visitors and clients by name as they arrive and notify technical staff
  • Monitor wait times and make accommodations during busy or emergency situations
  • Participate in training new staff and sharing knowledge
  • Ensure the waiting area is clean and stocked, using disinfectants as necessary
  • Confirm appointments using client’s preferred communication method
  • Provide backup support to technical staff when needed
