Job Requirements

  • minimum 1 year of veterinary experience preferred or 3+ years customer service experience in other fields
  • compassionate calm team player with a positive attitude
  • exceptional multitasking abilities and strong communication skills
  • highly organized with excellent computer proficiency
  • self-motivated with a desire to continuously learn and grow in your role
  • ability to handle emotionally charged situations with professionalism and resilience
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills especially in difficult or emotional circumstances
  • comfortable working in a veterinary environment
  • ability to adapt quickly to changing situations and manage multiple priorities effectively

Job Duties

  • maintain the visual appeal of the hospital reception area
  • greet and welcome clients and patients
  • answer questions and triage client concerns
  • answer calls or emails and direct to the appropriate party for resolution
  • schedule appointments to maximize efficiency and daily flow
  • check in and check out clients and process payments
  • offer friendly emotional support in a compassionate and discreet manner during times of need
