Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • At least 1 year of customer service or job-related experience
  • Ability to safely lift 30 pounds
  • Basic math skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Windows based computer systems and practice management software
  • Willingness to multitask and accept constructive criticism
  • Punctuality

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • At least 1 year of customer service or job-related experience
  • Spanish speaking preferred
  • Pet industry experience a plus
  • Must be able to safely lift 30 pounds
  • Basic math skills
  • Must be able to communicate effective verbally and in writing
  • Computer skills including the ability to use Windows based computer systems, word processing, email, web search and practice management software programs
  • Knowledge of Impromed Infinity a plus

Job Duties

  • Provide top-notch customer service and ensure that clients feel welcome and comfortable in our clinic
  • Be attentive to client and patient needs
  • Manage the appointment schedule and keep client and patient flow running smoothly
  • Answer phone calls from clients with a smile and ensure that all messages get to the appropriate staff member
  • Check-in clients upon arrival
  • Monitor client flow from check-in to discharge
  • Provide client education
  • Assist in cleaning the hospital including keeping reception desk area and lobby clean and sanitary
  • Process payments and close out client visits
  • Generate a list and call and/or send reminders for post-operative and treatment checks and vaccinations
  • Maintain proper documentation in the patient's medical record
  • Properly manage the clinic's filing system
  • Relay appropriate information to/from clients to doctors and/or management
