The Ark Veterinary Clinic is a well-established and rapidly growing veterinary care provider dedicated to delivering exceptional care and compassion to pets and their owners. Located in a community-oriented setting, this clinic has built a reputation for its commitment to both the health of its animal patients and the satisfaction of its clients. Known for a positive and respectful workplace culture, The Ark Veterinary Clinic values its team members as essential contributors to a welcoming and efficient medical environment. The clinic prides itself on fostering an atmosphere where every employee is respected, supported, and encouraged to thrive, ensuring that the well-being of the pets and the satisfaction of their owners remain at the forefront of all efforts.
The role available at The Ark Veterinary Clinic is uniquely positioned to support both the front-facing aspects of client interactions as well as the vital clinical support tasks that enable smooth veterinary operations. This position involves a combination of Receptionist and Veterinary Assistant responsibilities, making it ideal for candidates who are versatile, compassionate, and motivated to provide comprehensive pet care. Employees in this role will act as the friendly face of the clinic, responsible for greeting clients warmly, managing communication via telephone and electronic messaging, and ensuring client education is thorough and clear. The successful candidate will be responsible for seamless client check-in and check-out processes, gathering accurate client and patient information, updating clients on treatment progress, managing medication filling, and handling essential documentation such as scanning and uploading records.
In addition to reception duties, this position requires direct animal care assistance, including restraining animals during procedures, aiding veterinarians with diagnostic tests, administering medications and vaccines under supervision, maintaining surgical instrument sterilization, and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of treatment and kennel areas. Monitoring hospitalized pets and supporting post-surgical care are integral aspects that the candidate may be expected to perform depending on their experience level. This dynamic role is perfect for individuals eager to actively engage in veterinary healthcare and client service simultaneously.
Candidates with at least eighteen months of experience in the veterinary field are preferred, especially those with a background in surgical procedures. The Ark Veterinary Clinic emphasizes a strong team culture where respect, kindness, and community care are paramount. Full-time positions offer medical benefits and industry discounts, recognizing the dedication and hard work of employees. Work shifts consist of four stretches of nine to nine and a half hours per week, with occasional coverage needs. This opportunity is excellent for professionals who want to grow within a supportive and rewarding veterinary environment, combining client service with critical animal care functions to enhance overall clinic operations and patient outcomes.
