This particular role is centered at the White River Amphitheatre, one of the popular live venues under Live Nation’s expansive portfolio. As an usher, greeter, or ticket taker, the incumbent will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest service, ensuring event security, and maintaining an inviting environment. The primary responsibility involves greeting guests with a warm and welcoming demeanor, electronically scanning tickets, passes, or credentials to confirm their legitimacy, and managing the flow of attendees entering the venue. Beyond entry duties, this role requires a proactive approach in upholding venue cleanliness and safety standards, helping to resolve guest issues, and assisting guests with special needs to ensure their comfort and enjoyment. The role also entails guiding guests during emergencies, supporting venue recycling initiatives, and collaborating with team members to close and tidy the venue post-event. Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Guest service experience is a plus
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Acute sense of judgment, tact and diplomacy
- Ability to walk, stand and/or climb stairs constantly
- Ability to work outdoors under variable weather conditions

Job Duties
- Greet guests and scan event tickets upon entry to the venue using hand-held electronic scanners
- Examine tickets or passes to verify authenticity
- Assist with keeping the venue safe, clean and presentable to the guest
- Resolve or refer guest complaints or problems
- Provide assistance to guests with special needs, such as helping with seat accommodations
- Guide guests to exits or provide other instructions or assistance in case of emergency
- May assist in verifying staff credentials to generally restricted areas
