The Runner role at Live Nation is an essential position within the production department, critical to the successful coordination and execution of live shows and tours. A runner supports the production team, usually reporting to the venue or tour production manager, by delivering critical materials and assisting with various errands needed throughout the show day. This position requires a personable, reliable individual who can work well under pressure and maintain a professional demeanor when liaising with touring and venue personnel. Responsibilities range from transporting essential items between locations such as stores, airports, and hotels, to providing local area knowledge and guidance to touring personnel. Cash handling and receipt management during errands is also a typical duty. The role demands flexibility, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work long shifts, often lasting between 16 to 18 hours, including nights and weekends. The runner may also provide transportation for personnel using personal vehicles or large rental vans, making safe driving habits and reliability paramount.

Candidates must be at least 21 years old, possess a valid driver's license, have access to reliable transportation, and demonstrate thorough knowledge of the Raleigh/Durham local area.
