The Toyota Amphitheater, a prominent venue within Live Nation's portfolio, is currently seeking a dedicated Parking Lot Attendant. This role is pivotal in ensuring that guests arriving at events enjoy a smooth and organized parking experience. As a Parking Lot Attendant, you will take on responsibilities that include managing vehicle parking or issuing tickets to incoming guests efficiently and professionally. Handling cash transactions for parking fees and assisting guests with locating their vehicles form essential parts of this role. Your duties will contribute directly to maintaining order and maximizing the effective use of parking areas during large-scale events at the amphitheater.
This position offers an hourly wage ranging from $16.50 to $20.50, with pay rates determined based on market location, qualifications, skills, and experience. The role requires a well-groomed appearance, excellent communication skills, and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, complemented by previous guest service experience that will enable you to deliver courteous and efficient service. Job Duties
- Take numbered tags from guests, locate vehicles, and deliver vehicles or provide guests with instructions for locating vehicles
- Keep parking areas clean and orderly to ensure space usage is maximized
- Direct motorists to parking areas or spaces using hand signals or flashlights
- Patrol parking areas to prevent vehicle damage and theft
- Greet guests and open vehicle doors
- Calculate parking charges and collect fees from guests
- Issue ticket stubs or place numbered tags on windshields and give guests matching tags for locating parked vehicles
- Lift, position, and remove barricades to open or close parking areas
- Inspect vehicles to detect any damage
- Participate in the venue's sustainability program by implementing resource conservation and waste prevention initiatives
- Partner with team members post-event to close the venue, including collecting recyclables and storing event equipment
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Parking Manager or Supervisor
