We are seeking a motivated and experienced Venue Manager to join our team for a full-time contract position running from May to July 2026. This role is critical in supporting the planning, coordination, and flawless execution of dressing and signage operations at stadium venues hosting the FIFA World Cup 2026. The Venue Manager will be responsible for overseeing all venue-specific operations, managing the installation teams, ensuring strict adherence to client requirements, and acting as the primary point of contact between clients, stakeholders, and internal project teams. The position requires a candidate who demonstrates exceptional organizational skills, operational leadership, and the ability to perform effectively in a dynamic, time-sensitive environment.

The Venue Manager will work at one of several locations including Toronto, ON; Miami, FL; Seattle, WA; Boston, MA; Los Angeles, CA; San Francisco, CA; Vancouver, BC; Philadelphia, PA; and East Rutherford, NJ. Candidates must reside locally to the venue as the company does not offer relocation, transportation, or housing allowances. Valid working rights in Canada or the United States are mandatory.

In this role, the Venue Manager will ensure that all branding, wayfinding, and signage elements are installed safely, on schedule, and to the highest standards. They will lead daily venue coordination and maintain an on-site presence throughout installation, event execution, and de-rigging phases. The Venue Manager is charged with operational oversight, schedule management, client and stakeholder communication, risk and change management, installation quality control, and comprehensive reporting and documentation. The role demands someone who can manage multiple priorities, act as a problem solver, and uphold the company’s values while promoting a positive team culture.

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing large-scale event operations, preferably in sports, major events, or complex multi-venue programs
  • Strong project management skills, with experience in scheduling, reporting, and cross-functional coordination
  • Demonstrated ability to lead on-site teams in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills
  • Experience with risk, issue, and change management processes
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, installation plans, and venue layouts
  • Familiarity with FIFA, Olympic, or other global event standards is an asset
  • PMP certification is an asset
  • Experienced with MS Office, Google Suite and/or equivalent project management software
  • Ability to travel as required

Job Duties

  • Oversee all dressing and signage operations within the stadium, from installation planning through de-rig
  • Lead day-to-day venue coordination, ensuring smooth execution across all workstreams
  • Maintain a constant on-site presence during installation, event time, and de-rig phases
  • Develop, manage, and maintain detailed venue-specific schedules, including installation timelines, access plans, and resource allocations
  • Coordinate with installation leads to plan daily work activities, sequencing, and operational readiness
  • Track progress against milestones and proactively adjust plans to maintain schedule integrity
  • Act as the primary venue-level liaison for FIFA, stadium management, and other partners and subcontractors
