Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Two to three years prior experience in audiovisual or hospitality industry
  • Two years advanced audio and visual experience in theatrical or live event environment
  • Ability to operate AV equipment and supervise labor
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to stand or walk long periods including stairs
  • Must be proficient in MS Office, PowerPoint, Keynote
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Two to three years of prior experience in the audiovisual and/or hospitality industry
  • Two years of advanced audio and visual experience in a theatrical or live event environment
  • Strong technical aptitude related to audiovisual equipment setup, strike, and operation
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills including verbal, listening, and written
  • Customer-focused with a team player orientation
  • Basic computer skills including proficiency with MS Office, PowerPoint, Keynote, networking, IT device management, PC and Mac operations

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily floor operation including set and strike equipment for each event as required
  • Supervise non-union, union, and contract labor to ensure setup and strikes meet company standards
  • Operate audiovisual equipment in live show settings as needed
  • Greet guests and clients before events and provide clear instructions on equipment operation
  • Maintain communication with clients to ensure successful event execution
  • Follow through on client requests and identify opportunities to enhance events
  • Complete flow sheets, schedules, and purchase orders for equipment delivery and labor
  • Ensure all inventory is in good working order and rental condition
  • Enforce company security and safety measures
  • Continually update and improve technical skills
  • Maintain accurate client event information in billing and event order systems
  • Review invoices with clients and obtain signatures
  • Manage venue inventory to prevent theft or damage
  • Report any lost, stolen, or damaged equipment immediately
  • Ensure company areas are clean, organized, and up to standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned
