The Venue Maintenance Associate position at Puttery plays a crucial role in upholding the venue’s high standards of appearance, cleanliness, and functionality. This full-time role is focused on supporting the overall environment to ensure it remains safe, polished, and guest-ready at all times. The associate assists with routine upkeep such as cleaning public areas, restrooms, walkways, and guest spaces. Additionally, this role involves supporting general maintenance needs, including minor repairs, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting to prevent any disruption to guest experiences.
Maintaining the appearance and functionality of the mini golf courses and other guest areas is fundamental, ensuring that all equipment and surroundings consistently meet the high expectations that define the Puttery brand. Responsibilities also include timely removal of trash, maintaining cleanliness in waste and recycling areas, keeping floors and surfaces safe and free of hazards, as well as contributing to the setup and breakdown of equipment or furniture. The associate must be proactive in monitoring the venue throughout their shift, quickly addressing any spills, hazards, or cleanliness concerns to maintain a polished, welcoming environment.
The ideal candidate for this role will have prior experience in cleaning, porter, maintenance, or similar support roles, demonstrating strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. This role requires the ability to work independently while responding effectively to the needs of the team in a fast-paced hospitality or entertainment setting. Reliability, punctuality, and adherence to safety protocols are essential. The work environment at Puttery is lively and energetic, with physical demands such as standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and moving equipment during shifts. The schedule may include evenings, weekends, and holidays to align with peak operating hours. Job Duties
- perform routine cleaning and upkeep throughout the venue including public areas restrooms walkways and guest spaces
- support general maintenance needs such as minor repairs adjustments and basic troubleshooting
- assist with maintaining the appearance and functionality of mini golf courses guest areas and equipment
- remove trash replace liners and maintain cleanliness of waste and recycling areas
- keep floors surfaces and common areas clean safe and free of hazards
- assist with setup breakdown and movement of equipment or furniture as needed
- monitor the venue throughout the shift and promptly address spills hazards or cleanliness concerns
- report maintenance needs safety concerns or equipment issues to management
- support the team in maintaining a polished welcoming environment for guests
