The Weekend Venue Coordinator at Germantown Gables plays a crucial role in the successful execution of weekend events, managing venue operations primarily during the high-demand weekend schedule. This part-time role involves working 1 to 4 morning or evening shifts per month, aligning with the venue's weekend event calendar, and requires a flexible schedule that accommodates Friday through Sunday morning or afternoon shifts. The coordinator acts as the main point of contact for clients and external vendors, facilitating communication and coordination to ensure all services align with client expectations and contractual agreements. Job Requirements
- Associate degree or higher
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the events industry or venue coordinating
- Ability to problem-solve and remain calm under pressure
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift and move up to 15-20 pounds
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work weekend morning or afternoon shifts
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the events industry, venue coordinating, or similar role

Job Duties
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients during events
- Coordinate with external vendors including caterers, decorators, and audiovisual technicians
- Oversee event setup and breakdown ensuring cleanliness and organization
- Manage on-site venue operations and coordinate with Event Planners to resolve venue-related issues
- Ensure compliance with venue policies, safety regulations, and contractual agreements
- Perform opening and closing duties for the venue before and after events
