The Venue Attendant plays a pivotal role in the smooth operation of the venue during events. This part-time position is essential to maintaining the quality and safety standards required to deliver exceptional event experiences. The attendant is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the venue, including monitoring facility conditions, maintaining cleanliness, assisting guests, working with vendors, and ensuring that venue policies are adhered to throughout the event. Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in event venue operations or hospitality preferred

  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
  • Basic knowledge of facility maintenance and cleaning procedures

Job Duties

  • Maintain venue quality and operations by checking temperature of AC and heating unit regularly
  • Perform hourly sweeps of the venue and backyard to inspect water feature, lights, building, and general venue conditions
  • Ensure restrooms are clean and stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, tissue, and soap dispensers throughout the event
  • Clean areas safely and effectively during spills and throughout the evening
  • Collect trash from the property and transfer full bags to on-site dumpster
  • Lock up the venue at the end of the event
  • Deliver top-notch customer service by greeting main client or event planner and those closely associated
  • Be readily available to assist the couple and bridal party with unexpected needs
  • Assist guests with questions or concerns about venue or event
  • Professionally and kindly enforce venue policies
  • Sweep all rooms to ensure they are clear of personal belongings during event cleanup
  • Bid farewell to guests upon completion of the event
  • Work with vendors by assisting with venue-related questions and needs
  • Ensure vendors comply with venue policies, including trash disposal, noise levels, and appropriate loading dock use
