At the Kenosha Automall location in Wisconsin, CarMax is seeking to hire a Vehicle Delivery Driver. This role is essential to ensure that customers receive the vehicles they purchase smoothly and efficiently. As a Vehicle Delivery Driver, you will bridge the gap between the online purchasing process and the physical delivery to customers' homes, providing a seamless and enjoyable experience. The position demands more than just driving skills; it requires the ability to load and unload vehicles, deliver important paperwork, perform vehicle condition verifications, and engage with customers professionally during the handover of their new cars.

The Vehicle Delivery Driver drives a company-owned two-car hauler to transport vehicles between locations and for home deliveries. While a Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is preferred, it is not mandatory in most states, although additional endorsements or licensing might be required depending on the state’s regulations. Responsibilities include ensuring that all vehicles meet CarMax’s cosmetic standards before delivery, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and complying with Department of Transportation (DOT) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations.
