The role of the Vault Personnel within Brink's U.S., a division of Brink's Incorporated, is critical in maintaining the security and smooth operations of branch locations. This position centers on processing and verifying inbound and outbound liabilities, ensuring that all transactions are accurately recorded and reported while safeguarding both the physical assets and personnel. Vault Personnel play an integral part in keeping modern commerce moving by supporting financial institutions, retailers, and government clients through armored transportation, currency processing, and ATM servicing. Vault Personnel are entrusted with guarding the vault and its contents, preparing outgoing shipments, monitoring operational processes and equipment for efficiency, performing detailed data entry for all liability transactions, and generating essential daily records and reports. The position operates primarily from Monday to Friday with shifts running from 12 pm to 9 pm, with the end time potentially dependent on the arrival of the last armored truck. Candidates for this role must possess a strong customer service orientation, excellent bookkeeping and record-keeping skills, and the ability to manage safety and security protocols effectively. A valid firearms permit or the ability to obtain required licensing is necessary to fulfill the security requirements of the position. Physical ability to lift at least 50 pounds and a minimum age of 21 are also required. Working at Brink's offers robust career development through world-class training programs, cross-training opportunities to build diverse skill sets, and a supportive team-oriented culture.
