Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree and or its equivalent required
- Must possess the ability to lead a variety of group exercise class formats for our multi-generational student and staff population
- Ability to develop and lead high choreography cardio formats such as cardio dance and cardio kickboxing is a plus
- Instructors must be prompt, reliable, and able to follow departmental procedures
- Current CPR/AED/First Aid are required
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor degree and or its equivalent
- Must possess the ability to lead a variety of group exercise class formats for multi-generational student and staff population
- Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification required
- Nationally recognized group fitness instructor certification
- Small group training certification
- Personal training certification combined with group instructor experience
- Certification in specific fitness format is strongly preferred
- Ability to develop and lead high choreography cardio formats such as cardio dance and cardio kickboxing is a plus
Job Duties
- Communicating and scheduling with assigned clients in a timely manner
- Devising individualized exercise sessions and conducting these sessions at the Dodge Fitness Center
- Staying up to date with all required documentation and procedures pertaining to sessions tracking conducted sessions
- Updating direct supervisor on status of clients upon request
- Leading a variety of group exercise formats such as Pilates, sculpting, Barre, and Zumba
- Ensuring proper exercise technique among participants during classes
- Maintaining promptness and reliability while adhering to departmental procedures
