Job Requirements
- ability to perform physically active work throughout the day including standing, bending, stretching, walking, and using hands and wrists for repetitive tasks
- capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 80 plus pounds occasionally
- willing to learn and apply proper procedures for using cleaning equipment and supplies including safe handling of chemicals
- skill in understanding and following both written and verbal instructions
- comfortable using basic technology such as smartphones, radios, and computers
- ability to work reliably both independently and as part of a team with a positive approach
- dependable in showing up on time and ready to contribute
- openness to learning new methods and adapting quickly to changes
- attention to detail with the ability to recognize areas that need special care without prompting
Job Qualifications
- one year of experience in facility cleaning or janitorial work
- any combination of education, professional, volunteer and lived experience providing the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities
- flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- willingness to complete training and earn relevant industry certifications
- ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
- capable of working both independently and in a team setting
Job Duties
- keep restrooms, lobbies, and event spaces clean, welcoming, and guest-ready
- set up tables, chairs, stages, drapes, and more for performances and events
- support a clean, safe, and well-run environment for artists, crews, and audiences alike
- perform physically active work including standing, bending, stretching, walking, and lifting
- learn and apply proper cleaning procedures and safety protocols
- use basic technology such as smartphones, radios, and computers to support communication and task management
- work reliably both independently and as part of a team with a professional approach
