Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One month related experience or training
  • Valid driver’s license for the state or commutable area
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple English instructions
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations including handling American currency
  • Ability to operate a vehicle safely with cautious driving
  • Ability to handle physical tasks including lifting up to 100 pounds
  • Flexibility to work open availability shifts that end no later than 1:00 AM
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions including extreme heat and cold
  • Commitment to following established procedures and operational guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to comprehend and write simple correspondence
  • Effective presentation skills in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Understanding of 24 hour and military time systems
  • Ability to understand applicable parking rates and procedures
  • Valid driver’s license for the state or commutable distance
  • Ability to operate manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers, and clients
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using a friendly and professional approach
  • Park and retrieve vehicles safely, driving slowly and cautiously
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage handling, including delivering and picking up guest items
  • Provide guests with directions, taxi information, reservations, and details about local attractions and hotel amenities
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures clearly to guests upon arrival
  • Issue claim checks, collect revenue when necessary, and maintain accurate ticket information including key tags, guest folios, and damage surveys
