Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- One month related experience or training
- Valid driver’s license for the state or commutable area
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple English instructions
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations including handling American currency
- Ability to operate a vehicle safely with cautious driving
- Ability to handle physical tasks including lifting up to 100 pounds
- Flexibility to work open availability shifts that end no later than 1:00 AM
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions including extreme heat and cold
- Commitment to following established procedures and operational guidelines
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and write standard English
- Ability to comprehend and write simple correspondence
- Effective presentation skills in one-on-one and small group situations
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Understanding of 24 hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand applicable parking rates and procedures
- Valid driver’s license for the state or commutable distance
- Ability to operate manual transmission is highly desirable
- Ability to perform parallel parking
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers, and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using a friendly and professional approach
- Park and retrieve vehicles safely, driving slowly and cautiously
- Assist guests with bell services and luggage handling, including delivering and picking up guest items
- Provide guests with directions, taxi information, reservations, and details about local attractions and hotel amenities
- Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures clearly to guests upon arrival
- Issue claim checks, collect revenue when necessary, and maintain accurate ticket information including key tags, guest folios, and damage surveys
