Currently, Towne Park is hiring for several roles at the Anaheim Marriott, including valets, bell attendants, and cashiers. These roles come with competitive hourly wages starting at $16.90 per hour, with valet and bell attendant positions offering additional tip potentials ranging from $5 to $125 for valets and $5 to $220 for bell attendants. All shifts conclude by 1:00 AM, ensuring employees have a balanced work-life schedule. The Guest Service Associate role, essential to Towne Park’s mission, focuses on providing exemplary hospitality services. Associates are responsible for a range of duties that include parking and retrieving guest vehicles safely, assisting with luggage handling, and delivering outstanding guest interaction through friendly and professional service. This role requires attention to detail, safety awareness, and a customer-centric approach. Associates act as the face of Towne Park, greeting guests warmly, navigating guest inquiries such as directions and taxi services, and ensuring smooth operations related to parking and guest services. The responsibility extends to collecting and processing revenue for parking when necessary, managing claim checks, and maintaining accurate records related to vehicle handling.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One month related experience or training
  • Valid driver’s license for the state or commutable area
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple English instructions
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations including handling American currency
  • Ability to operate a vehicle safely with cautious driving
  • Ability to handle physical tasks including lifting up to 100 pounds
  • Flexibility to work open availability shifts that end no later than 1:00 AM
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions including extreme heat and cold
  • Commitment to following established procedures and operational guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • One month related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read and write standard English
  • Ability to comprehend and write simple correspondence
  • Effective presentation skills in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Understanding of 24 hour and military time systems
  • Ability to understand applicable parking rates and procedures
  • Valid driver’s license for the state or commutable distance
  • Ability to operate manual transmission is highly desirable
  • Ability to perform parallel parking

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers, and clients
  • Acknowledge and greet guests within five feet using a friendly and professional approach
  • Park and retrieve vehicles safely, driving slowly and cautiously
  • Assist guests with bell services and luggage handling, including delivering and picking up guest items
  • Provide guests with directions, taxi information, reservations, and details about local attractions and hotel amenities
  • Explain parking rates and retrieval procedures clearly to guests upon arrival
  • Issue claim checks, collect revenue when necessary, and maintain accurate ticket information including key tags, guest folios, and damage surveys
