The Body Shop is a reputable automotive service provider specializing in collision repair and vehicle restoration. The Body Shop Valet / Porter plays a critical role in ensuring smooth daily operations by managing the flow and security of customer vehicles within the shop premises. This position involves the essential duties of checking in vehicles left for repair or maintenance, performing final inspections on completed repairs, and maintaining the parking areas dedicated to customer vehicles. The valet/porter ensures that vehicles are handled with care, accurately documented upon arrival, and securely parked to facilitate easy access for technicians and customers alike. Additionally, the role requires assisting technicians by moving vehicles in and out of the repair bays as needed and delivering vehicles to customers upon completion of repairs. This requires good organizational skills, responsibility, and a keen eye for detail to identify and report any discrepancies or issues found during final inspections.

Job Duties
- Maintain the body shop parking area to allow customers easy access to the body shop area
- park customer vehicles dropped off for repairs or estimates
- complete a check-in report for each vehicle dropped off for repairs
- document any old/unrelated damage on the vehicle
- document mileage and place a mirror tag and floor mat in each vehicle
- assist technicians in moving vehicles in and out of the shop area
- ensure all vehicles are secure and locked each night
- complete final checklist report on completed vehicles to ensure quality of repairs
- make management aware of any problems that arise on final inspection to ensure any problems are corrected prior to delivery of the vehicle to the customer
- deliver customer vehicles from parking lot to the cashier at time of pick up
- assist with pick up and delivery of vehicles when needed
