The RV Valet/Porter role is essential to the smooth operation of our service area and overall customer satisfaction. As the RV Valet/Porter, you will be responsible for moving RVs safely and efficiently in and out of the service and storage areas. Additionally, this position involves transporting RVs to and from the dealership or customer locations as needed. The role requires a detail-oriented individual who takes pride in assisting with the cleanliness and organization of the service area and coaches. Your responsibilities extend to conducting thorough storage departure checks, including battery checks, water levels, tire pressures, and ensuring the refrigeration system is turned on prior to customer departure. A significant part of the position includes reporting any mechanical or operational issues to the service manager promptly to maintain high vehicle safety and functionality standards. Customer service plays a vital role in this position — you will be expected to engage courteously and professionally with customers, addressing any concerns or complaints swiftly and effectively. Adhering to safety protocols during vehicle handling and equipment use is paramount to safeguard yourself and your colleagues. The working environment involves physical activity such as standing for extended durations, walking, bending, and potentially lifting heavy objects. You will often work in various conditions, including tight spaces and outdoors, which may expose you to the elements and workplace noises.
