Job Requirements

Incredibly organized with effective verbal and written communication skills
ability to pay close attention to detail and act with minimal supervision
high commitment to guest satisfaction and professional courteous manner
proven safe driver with a clean driving record
valid California driver’s license
ability to drive vehicles with both manual and automatic transmission
experience as a valet, bell person, or doorperson
positive attitude and willingness to assist guests
ability to maintain confidentiality and security
readiness to work collaboratively across departments
willingness to maintain grooming and uniform standards

Job Qualifications

2+ years of experience driving vehicles with manual and automatic transmission
2+ years of experience working as a valet, bell person, or doorperson
valid California driver’s license with an acceptable moving vehicle record
strong interpersonal and customer service skills
ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
knowledge of safety policies and procedures
capability to respond proactively to guest needs
capacity to work in a fast-paced luxury resort environment

Job Duties

Operating vehicles safely and responsibly
collecting and accurately labeling keys
greeting guests and escorting them to guestrooms following established procedures including opening doors and assisting with luggage
directing guests to Experience Specialists and escorting on foot or by golf cart to rooms and resort areas
responding proactively to guest questions and requests
providing information about resort programming, local directions, dining, and entertainment
fulfilling guest requests and resolving any issues to uphold guest service standards
tracking daily arrival and departure times and coordinating housekeeping and amenity deliveries
checking guests out following procedures and assisting with luggage
maintaining a clean and orderly work area
performing clerical duties including organizing paperwork related to guests' vehicles and transactions
digitally responding to guest vehicle or luggage requests and team member requests
ensuring confidentiality and security of all guests
performing all tasks in a safe manner and abiding by safety policies
adhering to company and departmental guidelines
demonstrating warmth and professionalism in all interactions
taking ownership of guest requests and ensuring timely resolutions
maintaining impeccable grooming, hygiene, and uniform standards
upholding Sensei values in daily practices
completing all required training and certifications
reporting equipment faults, supply needs, hazards, injuries, and other concerns promptly
maintaining a positive and collaborative role promoting company values
responding to customer needs efficiently
developing teamwork among co-workers
assisting across departments to ensure seamless guest flow
performing other duties as assigned
