Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years verifiable full-time driving experience with similar vehicles
  • Valid driver's license
  • No positive drug or alcohol tests including pre-employment and random screenings
  • No more than 2 moving traffic violations in the past 36 months
  • No speeding violations exceeding 25 MPH over limit in past 36 months
  • No DUI convictions in past 5 years
  • No vehicular homicide, manslaughter, or assault charges
  • No operating vehicle with suspended or revoked license
  • No involvement in felonies using vehicles
  • No reckless driving or speed contests
  • No leaving the scene of accidents involving bodily injury or physical damage
  • No eluding police officers
  • No operating a cell phone while driving violations
  • Must be at least 25 years old to operate shuttles
  • Must be at least 21 years old to operate own or company vehicles other than shuttles
  • Ability to stand and move for up to 4 hours
  • Ability to lift up to 45 lbs and push/pull carts up to 250 lbs
  • Excellent physical dexterity and visual acuity
  • Must maintain neat and well-groomed appearance

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior hospitality experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license meeting company insurance requirements
  • Good communication skills, verbal and written
  • Excellent customer relations skills
  • Detail oriented with organizational abilities
  • Basic computer skills and computational ability
  • Knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, PMS, PBX, key systems, and POS
  • Self-driven and able to work independently

Job Duties

  • Welcome and escort guests to and from their rooms and assist with luggage
  • Inform guests of all safety features and promote hotel outlets if time permits
  • Offer information about hotel services, facilities, points of interest, and entertainment attractions
  • Store guest luggage upon request and assist with loading and unloading into automobiles
  • Call taxis for guests as requested
  • Prepare and maintain tour and delivery paperwork ensuring accuracy and operational standards
  • Supervise group baggage transfers and amenity deliveries
  • Maintain check-in station appearance, organization, and effectiveness
  • Assist other departments with transporting boxes and supplies
  • Promote a positive working environment and follow employee handbook guidelines
  • Complete maintenance and cleanliness of valet stand, driveway, and surrounding areas
  • Safely operate guest vehicles between valet area and parking
  • Create weekly staffing schedules
  • Provide initial and ongoing training for valet associates
  • Perform bi-weekly payroll processing and approve timecards
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
