Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalency preferred
  • Valid Florida driver license
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required
  • Previous similar experience preferred
  • At least 3 years of valet experience preferred
  • Ability to lift 50 to 100 lbs
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to work in varied environmental conditions such as heat, cold, wind, and rain
  • Ability to handle, finger, grasp, and feel objects and equipment
  • Ability to reach with hands and arms
  • Ability to communicate and exchange ideas effectively
  • Ability to navigate property quickly
  • Ability to complete all required forms
  • Ability to work extended and flexible hours including weekends
  • Ability to respond to emergencies in a timely manner

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalency preferred
  • Valid Florida driver license

  • Multiple language fluency is desirable
  • Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required
  • Previous similar experience preferred
  • At least 3 years of valet experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Supervise and create the schedule for a team of 8 valet attendants
  • Communicate with the property manager about valet staff openings and scheduling issues
  • Arrange additional valet staff for planned events
  • Arrange vacation and PTO coverage for the valet team or cover shifts personally if needed
  • Oversee advising, coaching, and disciplinary actions of team members
  • Submit weekly reports to management including garage inspections and equipment issues
  • Maintain constant communication of changes, memos, and notices with all valet employees
  • Oversee valet payment processes and cash handling
  • Maintain an accurate roster of parking spaces with user details
  • Maintain equipment in working condition and report maintenance issues
  • Resolve and follow-up on all complaints and issues
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment
  • Perform other duties as required
