Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • valid Illinois Driver's License
  • ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles
  • 6 months of valet experience preferred
  • must understand and speak English
  • must be at least 18 years old
  • ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs dictate
  • ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • capacity to stand, walk, crouch, kneel, and perform physical tasks
  • willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • compliance with company MVR policy
  • ability to run occasionally and conduct physically demanding tasks

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • previous Valet experience preferred
  • ability to operate manual and automatic transmission automobiles
  • valid Illinois Driver's License
  • good communication skills in English
  • ability to drive guest vehicles responsibly
  • age 18 or over
  • ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Provide a high level of guest service and promote a positive attitude
  • ticket all incoming vehicles
  • survey guest vehicles and indicate any damage on parking tickets
  • park all incoming vehicles safely and responsibly
  • return keys to the Valet booth
  • place keys on the keyboard
  • pick up keys at the booth window or retrieve keys from keyboard
  • retrieve tickets from departing guests and notify Valet retrievers for pickup
  • retrieve all exiting vehicles safely
  • assist co-workers in cleanup of areas assigned to Valet
  • hang and retrieve coats in Coat Check
  • respond to guest inquiries and provide assistance or direct to another area for information
  • accept cash for Valet parking and make change as needed
  • maintain a log of cars parked and retrieved
  • notify the shuttle bus of pick-up or drop-off as needed
  • promote superior guest service
  • perform other related duties as assigned
